Floral Design Lessons

So since the beginning of July I have been teaching Floral Design Lessons at the shop where manage. I have truly been loving it! I have found that I am not a half bad teacher either because my students have been doing really well! So here are a few pics of them hard at work! The next session begins on August 5th is anyone out there is interested.

Our 4 year anniversary is upon us! For a limited time we will be offering a special rate on our 'day of' coordination packages. An 8 hour package including our usual unlimited email assistance, initial consultation, final consultation, and rehearsal coordination will be at a discounted rate of $400.00
Due to the price of gas being much higher than 4 years ago :{ the travel fee for areas outside of Venice will be a one time charge of $75.00 for all meetings, rehearsal,and event day.

If you desire to take the full benefits of our 2 coordinator packages the rate would be $600.00

Offer will only be guaranteed for one booking per month for weddings through March 2009

Kelly & William July 12, 2008

I say it honestly when I say that Kelly and Will were by far my most fun couple to work for. They are obviously in love and had each other laughing the entire day. Kelly looked gorgeous and Will was not too shabby either! The ceremony and reception was at the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota. The weather was looking like it wasn't going to cooperate but in the end (and after many desperate pleas with Mother Nature) the rain cleared up and the ceremony went on sans rain.

I will post pictures of the wedding soon. I was fortunate to work with Joe and Suzanne from A.J. Mills photography and they graciously offered to furnish a few photos for the blog.
The flowers were by yours truly, Music was provided by Jennifer Slaughter accompianied by a bass player and piano player. Linens were in a beautiful Tiffany blue and were from BBJ linens. During the ceremony and cocktail reception Josh from Steel Pan Sounds played the Steel Drums.
The food was delicious, the Jerk Chicken Salad on a plaintain chip appetizer was to die for! The staff at the Ritz was wonderful and very accomodating. I hope that Kelly and Will had the day of their dreams!
