Florida State Florist's Association Annual Convention

I was away this weekend in Orlando for the annual convention. It was at the Regal Sun Resort in Downtown Disney. It was so amazing for a florist. My senses were amazed and intrigued the whole weekend. I saw an awesome wedding show and some cool new design ideas. I love continuing my education with the floral industry. You have to keep current!

In other news; I tested for the Florida State Florist's Association Master Designer Certification. Out of 15 applicants, 6 passed both the written and design portions. I was one of the lucky 6 and was pinned at the President's Gala on Saturday night. I took literally hundreds of pictures and will share some of my favorites as I have time.

Emily and Nick June 6, 2008

Emily and Nick were married at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church on Friday June 6, 2008 in Sarasota. They had the their beautiful reception at the Crosley Mansion.

The reception was green and yellow my first wedding with that combo and it was beautiful. They had a lot of nice touches, a Cigar Bar under the pavillion (with a very easy on the eyes cigar roller, Angela agreed!) and Cappuccino Bar in the dessert room with the candy buffet and the Viennese table. The day was great and we worked hard but I hope that Nick and Emily had a fabulous day!
